The Misericordia University women's tennis team advanced to the MAC Freedom championship match for the second straight year with a 5-3 win over Lebanon Valley, Thursday afternoon.
The Cougars won for the seventh straight time to improve to 14-2.
Brianna Pizzano,
Lydia Barbour and
Isabella Aniska were all double-winners for the Cougars.
Pizzano teamed with
Emily Brecker for an 8-7 (7-2) win at first doubles and Barbour joined
Hailey Loughlin for an 8-5 win at second doubles.
Pizzano won 6-1, 3-6, 6-0 at first singles and Barbour won 6-3, 6-3 at number four.
Aniska won 6-2, 6-4 at sixth singles.
The Cougars will travel to Stevens, Saturday.
