The Misericordia University men's soccer team dropped a tough 4-3 decision to Susquehanna in their season opener, Friday night at Mangelsdorf Field.
Anthony Yarabinee and Max Jamieson both had a goal and an assist and Kohen Stiles added his first career goal.
Yarabinee gave MU an early lead with an assist from Jamieson at 3:58. Jamieson played a ball from the end line to Yarabinee who buried a shot inside the left post from eight yards out.
Susquehanna answered in the 15th minute and the 1-1 score stood for the remainder of the first half.
Yarabinee hit the left post early in the second half, but the Cougars earned a corner which led to Jamieson's unassisted goal to put the Cougars back in front at 49:33.
The River Hawks scored twice in a six-minute span to take a 3-2 lead, but Stiles scored less than a minute later to pull MU even, 3-3. Yarabinee carried into the right side of the box and centered a pass to Stiles who slotted a shot into the left side of the net.
 Susquehanna netted the game-winner in the 73rd minute.
