The Misericordia University women's volleyball team rallied for a 3-2 win at Widener, Tuesday night.

After falling behind, 2-0, the Cougars won three straight sets to win, 3-2.

Meghan Peters led the Cougars with 17 kills while
Cassandra Genduso added nine kills, four blocks and three aces.

Jenna Schuda had 33 assists and four aces.

Keira McCaffrey had five blocks and
Madison Tullo had five kills and four blocks.

MU scored four straight points to take the lead for good, 19-16, in the third set.

Leading 22-21, Misericordia closed the third set with three straight points on kills by Peters and Tullo and an ace by
Maggie Duda.

Trailing 9-2 in the fourth set, the Cougars charged back to take a 15-13 lead on kills by Schuda and Peters and another ace from Duda.

Peters had two kills and Schuda had two aces as part of a 5-0 run to give MU a 19-14 lead.

The Cougars took advantage of three Widener errors to close the set on a 4-1 run to force a decisive set.

Leading 5-4 in the fifth set, the Cougars closed the match on a 9-1 run.

Two aces from
Jessica Cleveland gave MU a 9-4 lead. After a Widener kill, the Cougars scored six straight points to clinch the win.
