The Misericordia University women's volleyball swept a pair of matches on the opening day of the Cougar Clash, Friday night on Doc Mould Court.
The Cougars beat Oswego and Alfred, 3-0, to improve to 12-2.
Meghan Peters led the Cougars with 16 kills, eight digs, two aces and two blocks in the opener and Cassandra Genduso added 10 kills.
Jenna Schuda had 35 assists and Madison Tullo had three blocks.
The Cougars broke a 20-20 tie in the opener and cruised to 25-12, 25-18 wins to complete the sweep.
Jennifer Nicometo's kill gave MU a 21-20 lead and Meaghan McCaffrey followed with a kill. Genduso had back-to-back kills and Schuda closed the set with a kill.
McCaffrey had a kill and an ace as the Cougars raced out to a 7-1 lead in the second set.Â
Leading 17-12, Peters had four kills as the Cougars scored eight straight points to close the set.
MU used another strong finish with five straight points to clinch a 25-18 win in the finale.
Against Alfred, the Cougars won 25-18, 25-9, 25-23.
Nicometo had a team-high eight kills and Peters and Genduso added seven kills each.
Sarah Journey had three aces and Jessica Cleveland had 13 digs and two aces.
