The next honoree in the Misericordia Top 100 Student-Athletes of the Century countdown is #84 Tricia Hoffman.
A four-year starter in field hockey and softball, she was a six-time All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference selection.
The only player in school history to earn first-team all-conference status in two sports, she was a three-time first-team All-PAC honoree in field hockey and was named first-team in softball twice. She also earned second-team All-PAC status in softball.
In addition, she earned all-region status in both sports and was part of six PAC championship teams – three in each sport.
In field hockey, she is Misericordia's all-time scoring leader with 157 points and is second all-time with 58 goals and 41 assists. She owns the third-highest single-season points total in school history with 49.
In softball, she ranks seventh all-time with 116 RBI and a .420 career batting average. She is ninth with 189 career hits and 10
th with 134 career runs scored.
She was inducted into the Misericordia Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004.
