Max Jamieson converted a penalty kick for the second straight game to lift the Misericordia University men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Ursinus College Tuesday evening.

Jamieson buried the PK at 32:24 for his fourth goal of the season, tying him for the team lead.

The Cougars put on the pressure from the beginning taking shots in the first and sixth minutes, both of which were blocked.

Ursinus found an opportunity at the goal in the 11th minute but missed high right.

Patrick Sipera made an attempt to break the stalemate with a shot that also missed high right in the 31
st minute before Jamieson's PK.

Santino Jannotte was called upon to end the half as Ursinus made two attempts to even the game at the 39th and 42nd minutes, both being turned away by Jannotte.

Ursinus came out of the half increasing the intensity taking the first five shots of the half in 13-minute span.

Brody Eisenhart attempted to increase the lead with a shot to the low right corner in the 62
nd minute, but it was turned away by the Ursinus Goalkeeper.

Jannotte notched his fourth and final save of the evening in the 66
th minute.

Misericordia attempted to put the game out of reach with shots coming in the 83rd and 86th minutes from Macko and
Noah Romig both being turned away by the Bears Goalkeeper.
