The Misericordia University volleyball team split a tri-match with Moravian and Montclair State, Saturday in the Anderson Center.

The Cougars beat Moravian in the opener, 3-1, but dropped the nightcap to Montclair, 3-0.

Meghan Peters had 15 kills against Moravian while
Jenna Schuda had 43 assists and four aces.

Cassandra Genduso added 12 kills and three blocks and
Keira McCaffrey had 11 kills and three blocks.

After splitting a pair of tough sets to open the match, the Cougars cruised to 25-14, 25-11 wins.

Genduso led the Cougars with 10 kills against Montclair while Schuda had 25 assists and six kills.

Peters added nine kills and 11 digs.

MU's late rally came up short in a 25-22 loss in the opener with Montclair and the Red Hawks took the next two sets, 25-17, 25-19.
