The Misericordia University men's basketball team dropped its exhibition game at D-I Binghamton University, 69-58, Wednesday night.
Will Anozie led the Cougars with nine points and
Nate Townsend added eight as 13 Cougars scored.
Patrick Brown,
Mike Smith and
Jack Gallagher all had three rebounds and
Darryl Wright had three assists.
Trailing 38-24 at halftime, the Cougars outscored the Bearcats 34-31 in the second half, including a 10-0 run over the final 4:30 of the game.
DJ Fox hit a three-pointer with 2:49 to play and
Ian Glassmacher made a pair of three-pointers in the final two minutes.
Anozie hit a three-pointer on a fastbreak off a steal by Wright to give MU an 11-9 lead with 11:32 left in the first half.
Anozie nailed another three a minute later and
Matt Prociak followed with a three-pointer as the Cougars took a 16-11 lead with 9:26 to go in the first half.
Binghamton went on a 27-8 run over the remainder of the half to take a 38-24 into halftime.
The Cougars will travel to Penn State Abington, Monday.
