The Misericordia University field hockey team will host DeSales in a MAC Freedom Semifinal, Wednesday at 7:00 at Mangelsdorf Field.
 
Misericordia is seeded second after finishing the regular season at 15-3 overall and 6-1 in the MAC Freedom.  DeSales is seeded third and is 9-9 overall and 5-2 in the MAC Freedom.
 
The Cougars won their MAC Freedom regular season opener at DeSales, 3-2.
 
Top-seeded Stevens will host fourth-seeded Lebanon Valley in the other semifinal, Wednesday at 4:00.  The winners will advance to Saturday's championship game.
 
Misericordia is third in the MAC Freedom in goals scored (50) and goals allowed (19).
 
Madison Lasinski is third in the league with 13 goals while Celeste Hoffman is sixth with nine goals and Madison Blauch is eighth with eight goals.
 
Abigail O'Donnell is fourth in the league with nine assists.
 
Sarah Bogina leads the MAC Freedom with eight shutouts and is third with a 1.04 goals against average.
 
For DeSales, Brynn Balliet is fifth in the league in scoring with 25 points (10g, 5a).
