The Misericordia University field hockey team will travel to Stevens for the MAC Freedom championship game, Saturday at noon.
 
The second-seeded Cougars are 16-3 after a 1-0 win over DeSales in the semifinals on Riley Dwyer's last-minute goal.  Stevens is 17-2 following a shootout win over Lebanon Valley in the semis.
 
Stevens beat MU in the regular season match-up, 3-1, 10 days ago.
 
Misericordia is making its first trip to the MAC Freedom Championship game since 2021.  Stevens is the two-time defending MAC Freedom champion.
 
Misericordia is third in the league in scoring with 2.7 goals per game and is tied for second with a 1.00 goals against average.
 
Stevens leads the MAC Freedom with 4.2 goals per game and is tied with MU with a 1.00 goals against average.
 
Madison Lasinski (13g, 4a) is third in the league in scoring with 30 points.  Celeste Hoffman (9g, 2a) is 12^th and Madison Blauch (8g, 3a) is 13^th.
 
Abigail O'Donnell is fourth in the league with nine assists.
 
Sarah Bogina is third in the league with a 0.98 goals against average.
 
For Stevens, Taylor Brooks (5g, 16a) and Lauren Flynn (8g, 10a) are tied for the league lead with 26 points.  Sophia Cozza (9g, 7a) is fifth with 25 points and Jess Kopernick (8g, 7a) is sixth with 23 points.
