The Misericordia University men's basketball team moved into a tie for second place in the MAC Freedom with a 69-58 win at Delaware Valley, Saturday.
Kevin Lazdowsky had 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead four Cougars in double figures.
Matt Prociak added 18 points and
Jack Gallagher had 13 points and six rebounds.
Derek Smith added 12 points and five rebounds.
Delaware Valley scored to open the game, but Prociak answered with a three-pointer and the Cougars led the rest of the way.
Gallagher made a pair of free throws to extend MU's lead to 16-6 midway through the first half.
Lazdowsky scored seven points in the final 2:25 of the first half, including a three-pointer at the buzzer, to give the Cougars a 39-26 halftime lead.
Prociak and Lazdowsky made back-to-back three-pointers to give the Cougars their biggest lead of the day, 47-28, less than minutes into the second half.
Del Val chipped away at MU's lead, but never got closer than seven points.
