The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team dropped a tough 10-8 decision at Susquehanna, Saturday.

Alicia Pileggi led the Cougars with four goals while
Rachel Shook added three goals and an assist and Jenna Jacque scored her first career goal.

Jaden Pare had five ground balls and
Ashtyn Torbert had five draw controls.

Ryann Gross made nine saves in goal.

Shook gave the Cougars an early lead, but Susquehanna answered with four straight goals over the final 7:33 of the first period to take a 4-1 lead.

The teams traded goals throughout the second quarter and Susquehanna led 6-4 at halftime.

Pileggi scored three goals in the second half, but the Cougars never got closer than two goals.
