The next honoree in the Misericordia Top 100 Student-Athletes of the Century countdown is #65 Garrett McIlhenney.

McIlhenney was a four-year starter in the outfield on the baseball team and was a three-time first-team All-MAC Freedom selection.

He was a two-time all-region selection and was the Misericordia Wendy's Athlete of the Year as a junior.

He was named Most Valuable Player at the 2024 D-III World Series after leading the Cougars to the first national title in school history.

McIlhenney is Misericordia's all-time leader in games played (196), runs (241), stolen bases (105), hit by pitch (92) and on-base % (.538).

He is second in walks (151), third in hits (220), sixth in total bases (287), sixth in batting (.362) and tied for 10^th in RBI (119).

He holds school single-season records for hits (74), runs (80), walks (53), stolen bases (46), hit by pitch (33) and on-base % (.591)
