The next honoree in the Misericordia Top 100 Student-Athletes of the Century countdown is #24 Jared Piontkowski.

A current senior, he is a two-year starter on the men's volleyball team after transferring from King's.

In his first season at Misericordia, he was a first-team All-MAC selection and first-team AVCA All-American.

He set school single-season records with 440 kills and 4.63 kills/set and was the Misericordia Wendy's Athlete of the Year.

He led the Cougars to their first trip to the MAC championship match.

He ranks first in school history in career blocks (264) and kills per set (3.93) and is second in career kills (1,424) and aces (141).

Piontkowski is third in career hitting % (.293) and digs (523) and is third in single-season blocks with 74.

He owns school record for kills in a match (32).
