The Misericordia University baseball team dropped its series opener at FDU-Florham, 15-5, Friday afternoon.

The doubleheader between the two teams scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Sunday at noon.

Brian Korchok had two hits and two RBI while Jack Regenye and Brooks Kanwisher had two hits each.

The Devils built a 10-1 lead after three innings.

MU scored twice in the fourth and fifth innings to get within 10-5.

Jared Hoffman and Owen Cordner both drove in runs on fielder's choices in the fourth.

Korchok had a two-run double in the fifth.

The Devils scored twice in the seventh and three times in the eighth to secure the win.
