Ryann Gross made eight saves and had four ground balls to lead the Misericordia University women's lacrosse team to a 6-5 win over Arcadia, Saturday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.
 
Rachel Shook had two goals and had nine draw controls to go over the 400-mark for her career.
 
Delaney Campanella scored twice and Ashtyn Torbert had a goal and an assist and Adison Harner scored a goal.
 
Arcadia took a 1-0 lead in the opening minute, but the Cougars scored twice late in the first period and never trailed again.
 
Shook tied the game with 5:27 left in the first quarter and Harner put the Cougars in front less than three minutes later.
 
Campanella scored a man-up goal to open the second quarter
 
Shook and Campanella scored a minute apart in the third quarter to give MU a 6-3 lead.
 
Arcadia got within a goal late in the fourth quarter, but Jaden Pare scooped a ground ball off an Arcadia turnover in the closing seconds to secure the win.
