Misericordia University men's volleyball standout Jared Piontkowski has been named to the 2025 AVCA All-Region III team.

A senior, Piontkowski earned all-region status for the second consecutive season.

He was chosen as a right side hitter after finishing 10^th in the nation with 4.88 points per set and 4.2 kills per set.

He broke his own single-season school record with 504 kills and had double digit kills in 29 of 32 matches, including a season-high 28 in a win over Lasell.

He was ninth in the MAC with 0.77 blocks per set and 10^th in hitting at .290.

Piontkowski had the fifth-highest single-match kill total in the league with 28 against Lasell.  He had the league's highest three-set total with 20 kills against King's.

He is ranked fifth among active players with 1,526 career kills.

The Cougars finished 22-12 and advanced to the MAC semifinals while playing the seventh-toughest schedule in the nation.
