The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team ended its home schedule with a tough 17-10 loss to DeSales, Wednesday evening at Mangelsdorf Field.
Rachel Shook led the Cougars with four goals and an assist and six draw controls.Â
Delaney Campanella scored three goals and
Ashtyn Torbert had a goal and three assists.
Alicia Pileggi and Shook scored late in the first period to give the Cougars a 4-3 lead, but DeSales scored twice in the final 1:15 to go in front, 5-4.
Campanella scored to open the second period to pull the Cougars even, but DeSales went in front for good with four straight goals.
The Cougars will travel to FDU-Florham for their regular season finale, Saturday.
