Emily Susanj and
Lydia Barbour have been named the Misericordia University Wendy's Female Athletes of the Month for April while
Brock Bollinger and
Connor Bevan shared the men's honor.

Susanj, a senior catcher, led the softball team to a 7-7 record during the month and the third in the MAC Freedom Championships.
Â
She hit .516 (16-31) with five doubles, a grand slam and 10 RBI. She slugged .767 and had a .583 on-base %.
Â
Susanj hit safely in nine of 14 games and ended the month on a seven-game hitting streak, including five multi-hit games.
Â
Barbour led the women's tennis team to the MAC Freedom Tournament. She was 5-1 at number two singles and went 5-2 at number one doubles.

She was a double-winner in five of seven matches during the month.

Bollinger led the baseball team to a 10-6 record during the month and the second seed in the MAC Freedom Tournament.

He hit .471 with seven doubles, one homer, 12 runs and 11 RBI. He added 15 walks and had a .591 on-base %.

Bollinger hit safely in 13 of 16 games and had eight multi-hit games.
Â
Bevan led the men's lacrosse team in scoring as they clinched a postseason berth. He had 22 goals and 3.14 goals per game.

He led the league in scoring during the month and was second with 4.86 points game.
