The Misericordia University men's golf team ended the season with a sixth-place finish at the MAC Freedom Championships, Sunday at Shawnee-on-the-Delaware.

Matt Maransky led the Cougars with an 81 Sunday and Brett Herman and Cameron Purrington both shot 82.

Herman and Purrington finished tied for 17^th at 160 over two days.

Ryan Vallach shot 162 to finish T-22.

The Cougars shot 316-330 for a two-day total of 646.
