The Misericordia University men's soccer team opened the season with a 3-0 win at Susquehanna, Friday night.

Max Jamieson had a goal and an assist and Jaden Haig and Shane Macko added goals.

Patrick Sipera and Nicholas Passaniti both had assists.

Santino Jannotte made one save to post the shutout.

The Cougars held a 15-4 edge in shots, including 9-1 on goal.

MU earned eight corners while surrendering just two.

Jamieson gave the Cougars the lead in the 31^st minute and Jannotte made his only save less than 30 seconds later.

Jamieson assisted on Haig's goal 10 minutes later to make it 2-0.

Macko closed out the scoring 10 minutes into the second half.

MU returns to action at Lycoming, Wednesday.
