The Misericordia University men's basketball team improved to 2-0 in the MAC Freedom with a 70-61 win at Lebanon Valley, Saturday afternoon.

Matt Prociak had a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead four Cougars in double figures.

Jack Gallagher had 14 points and nine rebounds and Will Anozie had 13 points, including three three-pointers.

Arvel Chandler had 10 points and Eli Stoute grabbed 12 rebounds.

Prociak scored six straight points to give MU an early 13-3 lead and the Cougars led wire-to-wire for the second straight game.

Lebanon Valley got within five points late in the first half, but Gallagher hit a three-pointer and Anozie finished a fastbreak with a layup to give MU a 36-26 lead at halftime.

The Cougars never allowed the Dutchmen to get closer than five points in the second half and Prociak and Chandler both hit three-pointers to MU a 70-55 lead with less than three minutes to play.
