The Misericordia University men's basketball team clinched a postseason berth with 90-88 overtime win over King's, Wednesday night on Doc Mould Court.
Jack Gallagher and Matt Prociak both had double-doubles with Gallagher recording 20 points and 10 rebounds and Prociak adding 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Arvel Chandler and Eli Stoute both hit double figures with 16 and 13 points respectively.
The Cougars led by nine midway through the second half, but found themselves trailing 75-67 with 3:12 left in regulation following a 13-0 King's run.
Chandler ignited the rally with a free throw and three-pointer from the right corner to cut the Monarchs' lead in half, 75-71, with 2:27 left in regulation.
Ryan Nasuti's layup and a Gallagher three-pointer from the right corner to make it a one point game, Â 77-76, with :26 to play.
After a pair of King's free throws, Chandler buried a three-pointer from the left corner with :07 to go to force OT.
Chandler picked up where he left off to start overtime, hitting a three-pointer from the left wing. A Prociak tip-in and a pair of Eli Stoute free throws put MU up 86-81 with 2:32 left in overtime.
King's came back to tie it, but free throws from Stoute and Prociak provided the winning margin.
The Cougars first points of the game came on a pair of Stoute free throws. After King's scored the next few points, MU tied the game on a Gallagher three-pointer from the right corner to make the score 5-5 with 16:37 left in the half.
The Monarchs took a four point lead, but Misericordia responded with a Prociak layup and a Gallagher contested layup to tie the game , 11-11, with 15:17 to go.
King's reclaimed the lead, but the Cougars took it right back on Nasuti three-pointer from the right wing and a pair of Prociak free throws.
Nate Townsend's layup ended the 7-0 run for the Cougars.
The Monarchs again stole the lead, but Misericordia earned it back with a layup under the basket and a free throw from D.J. Orloff.
King's went on a 9-0 run to take a seven point lead, but the Cougars clawed back and responded with a 12-3 scoring run of their own.
Prociak scored the first five points of the run off a three-pointer from the right wing and a layup.
Gallagher scored the next four points from two free throws and a layup, and with 1:13 to go in the first half.
Chandler hit a three-pointer from the left wing to give the Cougars a 39-37 lead, King's tied the game, 41-41, at halftime.
Gallagher opened the second half with a layup to give Misericordia the lead and Stoute followed with five straight points on a layup and a three-pointer from the left wing.
Misericordia extended its lead on back-to-back three-pointers coming from Josh Pelzer from the right corner and Chandler from the right wing to give Misericordia a 56-47 lead with 13:40 to go.
