Matt Prociak led three players in double figures as the Misericordia University men's basketball team pulled out a 67-62 win at FDU-Florham, Saturday afternoon.

Prociak had 21 points and tied for the team lead with seven rebounds while Eli Stoute added 12 points.  Jack Gallagher had 11 points and seven rebounds.

The Cougars broke a 48-48 tie with a 9-0 run to take a 57-48 lead with 6:42 to play.  Prociak hit a three-pointer and Gallagher made two free throws to cap the run.

The Devils cut MU's lead to 60-59 with 3:11 to play, but Nate Townsend, Prociak, Arvel Chandler and Ryan Nasuti combined for seven free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

In a game that featured 28 lead changes, FDU-Florham took a 31-27 lead into halftime after a back-and-forth first half.

Prociak, Gallagher and Stoute all scored in the paint early in the second half as the Cougars tied the game, 36-36.
