The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team's second-half rally fell short in a 10-6 loss to Susquehanna, Wednesday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.

Down 8-2 early in the third quarter, the Cougars scored twice in the third period and added two more goals midway through the fourth quarter.

Ty Murawski led the Cougars with three goals and an assist.

Aiden D'Ambrosio,
Lincoln Brayford and
Jack Simone all scored goals and
Jake Louis had two assists.

The Cougars took the lead when Simone bounced in a shot from the right win midway through the first quarter.

Susquehanna scored five straight goals to take a 5-1 lead with 4:36 to play in the first half.

Murawski whipped a low shot inside the right post with less than a minute remaining before halftime, but Susquehanna answered with :02 left to take a 6-2 lead at intermission.

After Susquehanna scored twice early in the third period, Murawski scored on a tough-angle shot from the left wing with 10:53 to play in the third period.

Brayford forced a caused a turnover by the Susquehanna goalie near midfield and fired a shot into the empty net to get MU within 8-4.
