The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team won its fourth straight game with a 9-8 victory over Utica, Saturday at Mangelsdorf Field.

The Cougars scored four straight goals in the second half to rally from a 5-4 deficit.

Jack Simone had a goal and four assists and
Patrick Dwyer had two goals and two assists.Â
Jake Louis added two goals and an assist and
Ty Murawski scored twice.

Leyton Sullivan made 16 saves and added five ground balls.

Aiden D'Ambrosio bounced in a tough-angle shot to give MU an early lead and Dwyer took a perfect pass from Simone to make it 2-1 midway through the period.

Louis whipped in a low shot in side the right post with :03 left in the opening quarter to give MU a 3-1 lead.

Utica scored three quick goals to start the second period and added a goal early in the third to take a 5-3 lead.

Simone assisted on three straight goals to put Misericordia back in front and Murawski scored a man-up goal to make it 8-5 with 9:18 to play.

After two Utica goals, Simone scored an insurance goal on a low shot from the left wing to give MU a 9-7 lead with 3:33 left.
