The Misericordia University baseball team remained undefeated in conference play with a 10-3 win over FDU-Florham, Sunday at Tambur Field.
Shane Patten went 3-3 with two RBI and a run scored and
Drew Van Horn added three hits and two RBI.
Jase Seltzer tossed six innings to pick up his fourth win of the season while
Zak Lussier worked three shutout innings to earn the save.
The Devils scored the first two runs of the game in the top of the second inning, but Misericordia got one back in the bottom half.
Michael Duda was hit by a pitch and scored when Van Horn lashed a triple to left center.

Misericordia took the lead with a pair of runs in the bottom of the third inning. Patten singled to right center and came all the way around on a bloop double by
Bryant Diaz. Â
Owen Daminger ripped a single to left to give MU a 3-2 lead.

The Cougars added two more runs in the fourth. Van Horn started the inning with a single to left center, and scored when
Ben St. Pierre doubled to left center. Patten knocked him in with a double down the left field line to make it 5-2.

Misericordia put the game away with five runs in the bottom of the eighth.

Vin Proietto started off the inning with a single that deflected off the Devils' pitcher. After advancing to second from a sacrifice bunt, he scored on Van Horn's single to center field. Â St. Pierre and
Brooks Kanwisher reached on back-to-back walks and
Gavin Dillard blasted a single off the center field wall to score two more runs. Patten and Diaz hit back-to-back singles to score two more runs to give the Cougars a 10-3 lead.
