Baseball Drops Two at DeSales

The Misericordia University baseball team dropped a doubleheader at DeSales, 6-2, 15-0, Saturday.
 
Owen Cordner had two hits and two RBI and Gavin Dillard had two hits and scored twice.  Owen Daminger and Joe Peters added two hits each.
 
Brooks Kanwisher and Ethan Elmes both had doubles in game two.
 
Misericordia got on the board first in the opener with a run in the top of the fourth. Dillard walked and Joe Peters was hit by a pitch and Cordner followed with a double to left center to give MU a 1-0 lead.
 
The Bulldogs scored four runs in the fifth inning and two in the sixth inning to take a 6-1 lead.
 
Misericordia added a run and got the tying run to the plate in the seventh.  Cordner's two-out single through the right side drove in a run, but the Cougars left the bases load.
