The Misericordia University baseball team defeated Keystone, 15-10, Tuesday.

Gavin Dillard had three hits with three RBI and two runs scored and
Owen Cordner added two hits with five RBI.
Shane Patten added three hits and
Bryant Diaz had two hits.

Alex Polombo struck out five over three innings of relief to pick up the win.

Diaz started opened the game with a single to left field and later scored on an error.

After Keystone took the lead in the bottom of the first, the Cougars went back in front with three runs in the top of the second.

Joe Peters was hit by a pitch and
Ben St. Pierre crushed a home run to right.
Michael Duda was hit by a pitch and moved to second when Diaz singled to center field.
Brooks Kanwisher plated another run with a double to left field to give MU a 4-2 lead.

Misericordia took control with six-run explosion in the sixth. Duda, Diaz and Kanwisher all reached base to load the bases and Patten plated a run on a single to center field. Dillard singled to right field to score another run and Daminger was hit by a pitch to score one more. Cordner cleared the bases on a double to center field and Misericordia led 12-5.

Misericordia added some insurance with a three-run eighth. Patten and Dillard started with back-to-back singles and St. Pierre walked to load the bases. Patten scored on a passed ball and Cordner singled to center field to score two more to give the Cougars a 15-8 lead.
