The Misericordia University baseball team clinched a postseason berth with a 6-1 win at Lebanon Valley, 6-1, Friday.
 
Owen Cordner had four hits and three RBI, including a two-run home run. Bryant Diaz and Brooks Kanwisher each added a hit and a RBI and Gavin Dillard and Joe Peters each had two hits.
 
Bryan Henry pitched seven innings, allowing one unearned run with four strike outs, and Zak Lussier worked the final two innings for his seventh save.
 
Lebanon Valley scored in the first inning, but the Cougars tied in the second inning. Ben St. Pierre singled up the middle and scored when Kanwisher lashed a triple to left center field to tie the game.
 
Misericordia went in front with three runs in the seventh.  Peters singled to left field to start the inning and St. Pierre reached on an error.  Both runners moved up on a sacrifice bunt and Michael Duda reached on a fielder's choice to put MU in front. Diaz and Cordner followed with back-to-back singles to make it 4-1.
 
MU extended its lead in the ninth inning. Duda walked and Cordner crushed a home run to left to give MU a five-run lead.
