The Misericordia University baseball team will travel to Arcadia for the MAC Freedom Baseball semifinals, Friday.

This is the sixth straight postseason meeting between Misericordia and Arcadia.  The teams will open the best-of-three series, Friday at 3:30 and will play a doubleheader, Saturday at noon.

The Cougars are seeded third after finishing the regular season 26-14 and 14-7 in league play.  The Knights are seeded second after taking two out of three from the Cougars last weekend.

Top-seeded DeSales will host Stevens in the other semifinal.

MU's Shane Patten is fourth in the MAC Freedom in RBI (40) and tied for fifth in the conference for hits (55).

Owen Daminger is tied for third in the league in runs scored (49) and is second in the league in stolen bases (29).

Gavin Dillard is tied for second in the league in doubles (15) and is tied for sixth in runs scored (46)

MU's Bryan Henry is 6-2 and is second in the league with a 2.78 ERA. He also has struck out 48 batters.
