The Misericordia University men's soccer team will embark on a nine-day international trip to the Netherlands, May 11. The team and supporters will travel to Eindhoven, The Hague and Amsterdam for a combination of training sessions, games and sightseeing.

During the first stop in Eindhoven, the Cougars will tour Philips Stadium, home of PSV Eindhoven, before taking part in two sessions led by PSV coaches at the club's training facility. PSV has won the past three Eredivisie titles and is home to USA internationals Ricardo Pepi and Sergiño Dest. Â MU will play its first friendly match vs RKSV Boxtel, May 13.

The group will spend four days in Eindhoven before travelling to The Hague, known worldwide as the home of the U.N.'s International Court of Justice, and the home of the Dutch royal family. The time in The Hague will include a training session at SV Duindorp and opportunities to explore the city on the west coast the Netherlands.

The team will attend a professional match between AZ Alkmaar and NAC Breda on the last day of the Eredivisie season, May 17, before traveling to Amsterdam for the final stop of the tour.

Following a canal cruise of the city, the Cougars will play their second friendly vs F.C. Aalsmeer, May 18, before returning home.

The trip is the first international trip for the Misericordia men's soccer program.
