The Misericordia University baseball team will open a best-of-three series at DeSales in the MAC Freedom championships, Friday. Game one is set for Friday at 4:30 with a doubleheader scheduled for Saturday at 1:00.
Misericordia defeated second seeded Arcadia in the semifinal round while top-seeded DeSales beat Stevens. DeSales swept Misericordia during the regular season.

Shane Patten is fourth in the MAC Freedom in RBI (42) and tied for fifth in the conference in hits (58).
Owen Daminger is fourth in the league in runs scored (51) and is second in the league in stolen bases (30).
Gavin Dillard is leads the Cougars in hitting (.386) and is tied for third in the league in doubles (15) and is tied for fifth in runs scored (49)

Bryan Henry is 6-3 and is second in the league with a 3.24 ERA.
He also has struck out 52 batters.
