The Misericordia University women's volleyball team has been picked second in the MAC Freedom Volleyball Coaches' Preseason poll.

Reigning conference champion Stevens tallied 63 points and seven first-place votes to take the top spot. The Cougars trailed with 56 points and two first-place votes of their own.
 
Misericordia went 22-10 overall and 7-0 in MAC Freedom play during the 2025 campaign. The team was the number one seed in the conference tournament and defeated Lebanon Valley in the semifinals to advance to the program's second consecutive championship match.
 
MU will open the 2026 season when they host the University of Scranton, Sept. 1 at 6:00 PM.
