The Misericordia University men's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Lycoming in front of a Homecoming crowd, Saturday at Mangelsdorf Field.
The Warriors held a slim 13-12 edge in shots, but took advantage of their opportunities with two goals in each half.
The Warriors opened the scoring in the ninth minute and made it 2-0 at the 21:00 minute mark.
Lycoming made 3-0 just over five minutes into the second half and capped the scoring off a corner in the 89
th minute.
The Cougars most dangerous opportunity came late in the second half, but
Aiden Trapp's shot was denied in the 88
th minute.
Noah Romig and
Anthony Numssen had two shots each to lead the Cougars.
