Cody Harman had two goals and an assist in the first half to lead the Misericordia University men's soccer team to its eighth straight win, 5-0, Saturday afternoon at Delaware Valley.
Josh Stewart, Tim Bullis and
Cody Hack added goals as the Cougars improved to 11-2 overall and 3-0 in the Freedom Conference.
Harman opened the scoring at 20:28 with an assist from
Joe DiGirolomo and made it 2-0 with an unassisted goal less than five minutes later.
Stewart made it 3-0 with an assist from Harman less than a minute later and Bullis added an unassisted goal to make it 4-0 as the Cougars completed a three-goal spurt in less than three minutes.
Hack closed out the scoring with an unassisted goal at 71:54.
Andrew Loyd and
Lurae Brophy combined on the shutout in goal.
MU had a 19-5 edge in shots and 4-0 advantage in corners.
The Cougars will host King's, Wednesday at 7:00 at Mangelsdorf Field.
