Shannon Tinkham scored four goals to lead the Misericordia University women's lacrosse team to a 15-13 non-conference win over Wilkes, Monday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

Jamie Wargo and Jess Schwenk both had three goals and three assists while Nicole DeAngelis added three goals and an assist.

MU built a quick 4-0 lead and held and 8-5 halftime lead.

The Cougars stretched the lead to 11-6 with 21:58 remaining and held of a late Wilkes rally thanks to three goals from Tinkham over the final 12:11.

Allison Hoffer made seven saves in goal as MU improved to 7-5.

Misericordia will visit Scranton, Thursday at 7:00.
