The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team clinched a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference playoff berth with a 21-14 win at Alvernia, Wednesday.

Nicole DeAngelis had six goals and Jamie Wargo and Jess Scwenk added four goals each.

Shannon Tinkham and Brittany Schorr both had two goals.

Allison Hoffer made 17 saves in goal for the Cougars.

Misericordia will visit Gwynedd-Mercy in the first round of the PAC playoffs, Saturday at 1:00.
