Lycoming opened the second half with an 11-2 run on the way to a 23-12 win over Misericordia University in women's lacrosse action, Wednesday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.

Nicole DeAngelis led MU with seven goals while Shannon Tinkham had three and Jess Schwenk and Jamie Wargo added one goal each.

After falling behind 2-0 to start the game, the Cougars tallied four straight goals to take a 4-2 lead at 10:42.

Tinkham scored twice to even the score and DeAngelis added a pair for a two-goal lead.

Lycoming scored six straight goals to take an 8-4 lead and DeAngelis added three goals in the final seven minutes of the first half.

MU will visit Eastern, Saturday at noon.
