The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team suffered a 22-10 loss to FDU-Florham at Mangelsdorf Field Thursday to drop to 3-11 (2-6 MAC).
Shannon Tinkham matched an early FDU goal with 28:01 in the first half to tie the game at 1-1, but the Devils scored five straight and never surrendered the lead.
The Cougars got back-to-back goals from Krista Shenk and Shannon Tinkham to bring the Cougars within three goals at 6-3. The Cougars eventually headed to halftime down 13-7.
The Devils patched together a seven goal run in the second half, and the Cougars were never able to gain ground. Jamie Wargo scored the final goal of the game for the Cougars with 0:32 left to play.
Tinkham led the team with four goals on six shots. DeAngelis scored two and an assist, and Shenk, Wargo, Jessy Schwenk and Natasha Jankowsky added a goal each.
The Cougars play at Messiah Saturday at 1 p.m.
