The King's College men's lacrosse team used a 5-0 run in a 17 minute span enrout to a 10-5 win over Misericordia University, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.
Ryan Blevins and
Tim Bojanowski were recognized prior to the game in honor of Senior Appreciation Day.
Zach Buckley had two goals and an assist to lead the Cougars.
Lee Blair, Pat McTague and
Seth Swiatkowski all added goals.
McTague scored four minutes into the game to give MU a quick 1-0 lead.
After King's took a 2-1 lead midway through the opening period, Swiatkowski scored to make it 2-2 with 1:27 to play in the first quarter.
King's scored five straight goals to take a 7-2 lead early in the third before Buckley broke the string with 9:48 remaining in the period.
Buckley added another goal late in the quarter to make it 8-4.
The Monarchs sandwiched a pair of goals around Blair's fourth-quarter tally for the final margin.
James Scott had four saves for the Cougars.
Misericordia will visit Elizabethtown in their season finale, Saturday.
