Alexandra Snyder and
Gabby Cruz have been named the Misericordia University Wendy's Female Athletes of the Month for April while
Jack Simone and
Brayden Brown shared the male honor.

Snyder won the javelin at York and the Misericordia Invitational and finished seventh at Bucknell where she was the top D-III finisher.

She owns the second-best throw in the nation at 45.16m.

Cruz was 8-0 with a 1.37 earned run average in eight appearances. She struck out 29 in 41 innings while leading the Cougars to the top seed in the MAC Freedom Championships.

Simone led the men's lacrosse team in scoring with 40 points on 26 goals and 14 assists. He had at least one point in all seven games and had 11 (7g, 4a) points in a win at FDU-Florham.

He scored six goals in a win at King's and had two five-goal games.

Brown won the shot put at York and won the discus and shot put in the Misericordia Invitational.

He set school records in the discus (143'11") and shot put (40'4.75").
