The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team erupted for 14 second-half goals enroute to a 21-8 win at King's, Wednesday.
Nicole DeAngelis led MU with 10 goals and two assists and
Krista Shenk added four goals and an assist.
Emily Foley and
Camilla Hansen had two goals each and
Jess Schwenk and
Julie-Anna Shahan added a goal apiece.
Kate Wallace came out of the cage and tallied her first goal of the season.
Tied 7-7 at halftime, the Cougars used an 11-0 run to open the second half and take an 18-7 lead.
After King's scored to make it 18-8, Shenk, Hansen and Shahan scored goals over the final six minutes.
Wallace made three saves to earn the win in goal and
Kate Leardi made two saves in 18 minutes of action.
The Cougars will host Elizabethtown for their season finale, Saturday at 1:00.
