The Misericordia University women's lacrosse season came to a close Saturday with a 21-3 loss to Elizabethtown at Mangelsdorf Field.
The team paid tribute to its three seniors with Senior Appreciation Day. Jessy Schwenk, Kathryn Wallace and Jamie Wargo were all celebrated during pregame festivities.
The Cougars couldn't get on the board until 2:17 in the first half. Down 11-0, Schwenk netted her 13th goal of the season.
Wargo followed up in the second half with a score, and Nicole DeAngelis added the team's final goal with 6:20 to play.
The Cougars finished the season 4-13 (3-8 MAC). The Blue Jays, who remain undefeated in conference play, will go on to the conference championships.
