A second-half rally came up short as the Misericordia University women's lacrosse team dropped a non-confernce game at Marywood, 18-16, Tuesday.

After falling behind 10-5 at halftime, MU staged a furious comeback in the second half, but it wasn't quite enough.

Nicole DeAngelis led MU with nine goals and one assist while Natasha Jankowsky added three goals.

Shannon Tinkham had two goals and Jess Schwenk and Emily Foley added one goal each.

Kate Wallace made 10 saves in goal.

Misericordia is 3-8 overall and will return to Freedom Conference action, Thursday at Manhattanville.
