The Misericordia University men's lacrosse dropped a heartbreaking 12-11 overtime decision to Alfred University, Wednesday in Myrtle Beach.
The Cougars led throughout the contest and took an 11-7 lead into the fourth quarter.
Pat McTague led the attack with four goals and an assist and
J.R. Lauri added two goals.
Josh Schwartz and
Lee Blair both had a goal and an assist.
Ryan Kay made 20 stops in goal.
MU, 0-2, will host Wells in their home opener, Saturday at 4:00.
