Kyle Calabro scored with 1:10 remaining in the third overtime to lift the Misericordia University men's lacrosse team to an 8-7 win, Wednesday at Lebanon Valley.
Pat McTague had two goals and assisted on Calabro's game-winner and
J.R. Lauri added two goals.
Josh Schwartz had a goal and an assist and
Matt Gonzalez and Zach Buckley added goals.
Calabro had two assists and
Ryan Kay made seven saves in goal.
Lauri and McTague scored early in the first quarter to give MU a quick 2-0 lead.
Leb Val scored the only goal of the second period and tied it 2-2 with a goal early in the third.
Schwartz and Gonzalez scored back-to-back goals to give MU a 4-2 lead with 5:54 to play in the third.
After the Dutchmen cut it to 4-3, Lauri scored unassisted to give MU a 5-3 lead heading to the fourth quarter.
McTague and Buckley scored to make it 7-4 early in the fourth, but Leb Val scored three goals over the final 6:40, including one as time expired in regulation.
After two scoreless OT periods, Calabro netted the game-winner off a feed from McTague.
Misericordia will host Widener, Saturday at 1:00.
