The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team dropped its home finale to DeSales, 13-4, Saturday at Mangelsdorf Field.
Lee Blair and
Kyle Calabro both had two goals for MU while
Pat McTague added two assists.
Ryan Kay made 15 saves in goal.
With seniors
Dom Lucenti and
Brian Ratajczak playing their finale home game, the Cougars jumped out to a 2-1 lead midway through the opening period.
After DeSales opened the scoring just over a minute into the game, Calabro tied it three minutes later with an assist from
Matt Gonzalez.
Blair made it 2-1 with an assist from McTague with 9:06 to go in the half.
DeSales tied it off the ensuing face-off and built a 6-2 lead before Calabro scored unassisted in the final minute of the second quarter.
The Bulldogs opened the third period with a 5-0 run before Balir scored with 1:25 left in the period to get MU within 11-4.
The Cougars will play at King's, Wednesday at 7:00.
