The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team lost at King's, 17-6, Wednesday night.
Lee Blair led the Cougars with two goals and
J.R. Lauri added a goal and an assist.
Kyle Calabro and
Matt Gonzalez both had goals.
The Monarchs opened a quick 2-0 lead and used a big second quarter to take a 10-0 halftime lead.
Trailing 11-0 in the third period, Blair scored both of his goals and Lauri followed with his goal to get MU within 11-3 with 11:04 left in the quarter.
King's responded with two goals and built a 15-4 lead heading into the final quarter.
The Cougars, 3-12, will play their season finale at Alvernia, Saturday.
