The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team dropped its season opener to Muhlenberg, 15-3, Sunday night in Myrtle Beach.

Kate Pagnotta scored the first two goals of her collegiate career and Catie Viegas added her first career tally.

Krista Shenk added an assist for MU and Colleen Hunt made nine saves in goal.

The Cougars will play Mt. St. Joseph, Tuesday afternoon in Myrtle Beach.
